Having been to this place before the revamp we had thoroughly enjoyed it and were really looking forward to it.

We Arrived on a Saturday night, was informed it was a buffet style menu,with no option to choose from the main menu, we had not been informed when we booked and took a menu away to see what was on offer, the sparse buffet costs £14.95 per head and runs Fri,sat, sunday apparently, we were a bit perplexed because the tempting menu we took away makes No mention of a weekend buffett .

They were clearly overbooked as they has a party of over 30 in who seemed to think they had the place to themselves, and constantly stood in and blocked the walkways.

The buffett menu was not extensive, there was no Curried chicken no jerk chicken, no festival, no hard dough bread on offer(which was what the majority of our group were looking forward to), and a bit of fried plantain and callaloo was the only offering for vegetarians.

The food on offer was bland and underspiced. The only impressive dish was the soup. The music was unbearably loud R &B;, and more the level of a nightclub bar than that of a restauraunt, we found it difficult to hear our conversation or what the waiting staff had to say to us. we could not wait to get out.

Very disappointing experience. will not be going back.Wish I could echo other positive reviews but I can't on this occasion.
