I spent half an hour at the Enclave with my son as a friend of ours works there and we took her there at the start of her shift. There was no entry charge. I liked the cool minimalist decor and lighting, the staff were friendly without being in any way pushy or over-familiar, and the drinks were half normal price.. but then it was only just after six pm on a Saturday!

While we were there, both men and women came in and seemed happy to be there. No doubt the space could get very crowded and uncomfortable later. But then I know other good music venues where they just seem to let folk pile in until no-one can move.

So, as one of the others has commented, the Enclave is an excellent place to start your Soho-based evening off before either deciding to stay or moving on, and no, I am in no way connected to this venue! I would, and probably shall go again, but at that earlier sort of time , so my five star rating relates to my happy hour visit, and not to what the place is like later.

The door staff tried to charge me and my friend £10 entry on Saturday - even though this article claims it is free. When we were hesitant, they tried to entice us in by saying they could arrange a massage for us with a woman or a man! We just walked away laughing at them...

This venue is small and resonably priced for Soho, but it's not for everyone. If you're used to big places like Heaven this is probably not for you. All the times I've been here I've not had to pay more than £1 entry. Get there early cheapskates! I've found it's good for starting a night off.

Not quite sure why the review states free entry as the door staff tried to charge us £10 each to get in and this was at 8.30pm on a Saturday evening. After getting in without paying the place was pretty unremarkable and very cramped upstairs and small downstairs. I would certainly have demanded a refund had I given in to their demands and certainly wont be returning.
