If you're thinking of going here - DON'T. Service bad, Manageress (if she is one)abusive, rude and reduced one of my friends to tears and then spoke to every member of our group telling us what a horrible person my friend was. I found it telling that all the nice reviews are pre the change of ownership. Some of the combination of food were, to say the least, odd, to add insult to injury.

Would never step foot in this establishment, there are plenty of other places that are nearly with much better service that won't try to rip you off, very unprofessional and unreliable if you are thinking of organising a meal/event here. What sort of business would try to charge you extra one week before a Christmas party and then hurl abuse/aqusations/threats at us and call you liars even though you have confirmation of costs in writing? Ruined a Christmas party for 20 small children Doesn't deserve the trade, plenty more deserving businesses nearby.

Terrible! We booked the function room over Christmas. A couple of days before the event the Mananger said she wanted an extra £150 for an increase in food and room hire costs despite us having the original price agreed in writing. She then became abusive when we explained our legal rights and cancelled our booking leaving 40 people without a venue at the last minute!

I get the feeling Halo may have changed hands sadly. Pleasant but clueless staff, below par food using cheap ingredients, and the same dated Natalie imbruglia cd on constant repeat. Felt like nobody was in charge or really cared. Would not return, especially with so much competition locally.

love it. Amazing food. the burger is one of the best burgers i have ever had and the chips it comes with are beautiful. Good drinks choice as well. and the garden is a really nice place to chill out.

Best deal on Gloucester Rd for food & drink. Great wholesome food at brilliant prices.

Also great bar prices, cheaper than neary pubs & you must try the Chocolotini cocktail, to die for.

The staff are all lovley & so helpful. Just go there!
