Seemingly dangerous place that has no control over its doorstaff. I was having a quiet pint in there last Friday, their website clearly states they are open until 2am. The extremely aggressive bouncer came over and demanded I finished my drink and left. I asked him about the website saying the bar was open later - he said he didn't care what the website said, you have to leave. His attitude was aggressive, unprofessional and shocking - I've never seen this in Bristol before. When I asked to speak to the manager, the bouncer squared up to me and said 'you go and f****** ask for him'. The manager eventually turned up and was clearly very scared of the doorstaff. Either this place is now an organised crime-run business, or they don't care about their staff or their customers. Avoid, which is a shame because the bar itself is cool and the bar staff polite and friendly.

This is a nice venue, and they do some good music nights.
The food is okay but the service is so slow and poor, I don't bother eating here anymore.
