For breakfast, lunch or dinner head to modern and stylish Banco lounge where they offer a wide array of delicious meals. The relaxed atmosphere and fresh food makes it a great place for families and couples alike.

I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! very disapointed with the service here. my meal was burnt to a crisp and then when I asked for another, the staff we rude, threatening and snobish. The entire kitchen staff then came out to watch me take a bite of the second burnt pie and the head waiter came and leaned on the table in front of me, demanding to know if this was any better but not in a friendly manner. I felt very uncomfurtable, I'm not the sort of person that sends food back, but the pie crust was BLACK...not to mention the chargrilled bits of carbon declared to be chips. And like a fool I paid for not only the rubbish food but the rude staff.

I arrived very early at Banco, to beat the Mum's and buggy rush with the intention of checking out toast and coffee within the locality. Having eaten full breakfast here and found it very good, I was disappointed with the two rounds of bland wholemeal toast with only one near frozen pat of butter and one marmalade. Obtained another butter on request. Coffee was very good.
As more and more cafes are concerning themselves with 'food miles', I was surprised to see that the butter was made in France. As we can produce very good butter locally, come on Banco, do your bit to support local produce.
Great tasting food on the main menu, but need to improve the lighter bites.
Must say the service has improved greatly since my last visit!

If your eating is like your thinking "outside the box" then you need to set aside time to visit the Banco Lounge on Wells Road. All the food caters for all foodie types and level themselves at providing traditional dish with a twist! The twist is the extra combination or presentation or method of cooking or simply food served differently. Does it taste good? Tastes fantastic! Veggie breakfast- what a breath of fresh ideas. Food served, how food should be served....like you wouldn't get at home! Yes it is that special!

Great atmosphere. Good service. Knowledgeable staff. Good management team. Go early to get a table!!

The sandwiches are nice and quite imaginative, but you pay for it.
The service is so-so.
