Great little pub been going there every Friday night we spend quite a lot of money there ...however last night something kicked off not sure what but they chucked somebody out.
However wether the landlady has a drink problem I don't know but she was so nasty to some lovely people and chucked them out ...she shouted she did not want no more customers coming into my pub ..get out......

Well the landlord needs to take her in hand as I know these people they are truly really nice people and bring quite a crowd when they come ...so basically the pub has lost out now .

Is it worth anyone going to this pub anymore with a physco landlady....she ruined a really great night and ten people automatically left because of her ..

A very nice, friendly pub. The many locals who frequent this establishment are always friendly and approachable. The bar staff and management are friendly. Beer is good. There is good entertainment - various artists on a Friday such as Paul Foster, Phil Charles, Ravel, etc, Debbie's Karaoke on a Saturday is always good for a laugh. There is always something going on throughout the week to attract the public - quiz every other Monday, crib on a Tuesday, pool on a Wednesday, ladies darts on a Thursday, music entertainment Friday/Saturday, meat raffle drawn on a Sunday (tickets sold during the week - ask behind the bar for details).

Very quiet and cosy public house. The Landlord is a good chap and serves a good pint of bitter. Nice to have a pub which isnt packed with lager louts, just decent honest people who are always open for a chat.
