The old Barn is a really nice enjoyable pub to be at, you get no annoying young chav kids, no underage people at all, and friendly light hearted banter between pub landlord and manager of The Old Barn.
There IS (I repeat...) IS music but its not to loud and not to quiet you want to be able to hear what people are saying to you, as I like most people, go down to the pub for a social thing, so saying that The Old Barn is DULL?! is a complete travasty sir.
I suggest you go down to a local hangout of underage kiddies drinking cider and blaring sh*t music and hang out there if you want sme music entertainment or food, make it at home you lazy git.
The Barn is a rural pub offering a friendly atmosphere where you can just sit back and relax and enjoy your pint of traditional ale or Cider and have a nice evening with friends.

The Old Barn is indeed a shockingly dull pub, with the atmosphere of the inside of an old teapot. The venue is literally filthy, but not even this livens the greying, weirdly smug ambience the pub has. I certainly shall not be returning. - Report
