We went for lunch at the Richmond last sunday as we had been told by friends that the menu had changed and so had the chef. We got there at about 13.30 and it was packed out but smelt fantastic. The Roast beef looked amazing and lived upto the expectation when we tasted it. Divine! Lovely moist meat, crisp yet fluffy potatoes, light yorkshire pud and the gravy was to die for, Couldn't fault it. We then shared a dessert which took a while to arrive but again was very tasty and a good end to a stunning lunch. If your in the Clifton area this is a must try.

Tried the restaurant Saturday 15 October 2011. Although the place was more or less empty it took 55 minutes for our food to arrive - no explanation as to why we waited so long. Beef burger burnt and the parmesan shavings were very sparse on the salad. Staff friendly but we will not be returning.

The Richmond is a pleasant new pub, with great food and a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend going down there for dinner, especially preceding the Tuesday pub quiz. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning this week!
