Great pub with a great crowd of people in there. Does seem to have a reputation as a 'trouble' pub but this is totally undeserved. There's a wide variety of age groups who use the pub and the juke box has got to be the best in Bristol. Anyone who loves football (bristol City in particular), boxing or any other sport will always enjoy it here. Regular drinks promotions, free food during major football games and occasional unannounced special guests (Ricky Hatton, Eric Bristow, Scott Murray, Jane Couch to name a few). All in all a proper place to go and let your hair down!

Love this pub, always made to feel very welcome, Shaun and Lesley are lovely couple and always have time for a drink and a chat. Always have a brilliant Saturday night and most of the time there is music or a disco so never a quiet night, good mix of young people and older people always a friendly atmosphere :-)

Despite the bad press this pub somethimes get, my wife and i love it in here!

The juke box is awesome has to be the best I have ever come across, everything from old war songs to oasis!!

We sometimes bring my 85 year old mother in on a sunday lunch time who also loves the atmosphere in here.

On fridays and Sunday night, we all usually end up haveing a sing song and the landlord Shaun is one of the nicest blokes you could ever wish to meet!

The Bristol City memorobilia is great, also there is a lot of boxing memororobilia.

I actually met Ricky Hatton one of my heros in there the other sunday!! All in all, a good old fashioned boozeer!
