We went to Al's last night, as part of a groupon deal, probably would nt of gone there otherwise, but would happily go there again, te food was delicious, staff courteous and I would definitely be very happy to pay full price.
Love Al's Tikka, I usually have a dupiaza, which is not that hot, and they do the best one around. The decor is awful, and the toilet reminds me of a camp site, but the food is ace, loads of good quality chicken, and really cheap. I have just eaten a take away from there and feel much better... Yo
I love this place- first and foremost the food is fantastic, by far the best indian in bedminster and the nicest I've had anywhere for a while. It has a casual atmosphere and is a very friendly laid back place- this is part of the charm, it's the whole point! Dont come dressed up to eye balls and expect silver service- if you want a meal like that then go to clifton and pay through the nose. This cafe/ grill offers really tasty curries at amazing prices and the waiters' cheery service makes you feel welcome and relaxed.
Cant recommend it more.

Love this place.
Yes its No frills and yes the toilets are low grade and Victorian but the chap serving has the best smile and the Lamb Dopiaza(sp?) is as tasty and melt in the mouth as I've had.
Reminds me a a place in Derby that served the tastiest curry in weight and with super bright lights that gave you tan as you ate.
It’s bring your own and if you go when it’s not too busy they make it real nice for you!
There’s a cool photo of a Lamborghini circa 1982 on the far wall; check it out over your Onion Bhaji.
I will continue to eat here as long as I live in BS3. No fuss.
The toilets were disgusting, so I didn't get past ordering poppadoms. Had I been less forgiving of the tables that had been left uncleared and the mango chutney that was stuck to the menu I'd been given, I wouldn't have even ordered that much.
My rating is actually no stars. Nul point 'Al'.
Bog standard Indian with the added bonus that you have to bring your own beer for which they charge you to open.
