well a very random night, took a friend to a chritmas party and was looking for a quiz to do to kill a few hours. Found a real gem The Hill.
very good food and a very friendly pub with a fantastic quiz night.
This was the best fun quiz we have attended in a long while made to feel very welcome by the quiz master and staff. you need a i phone to take part and it was a real game all night trying to be fastas the students but we got one right. even when we were almost last going into the last round we were having a laugh and when we finished 3rd we were laughing all the way back home
well recommended for food and laughter.

It was a sunday and the restaurant seems semi occupied, thinking it wouldn't take too long to have a quick bite. The Food was average, i ordered a wrap and it took an hour to arrive. Needless to say the service was terrible. It seems like there wasn't a manager around, the waiter only seems to realise that it had been 45 mins and only than check with the kitchen to realise there was a fuck up. Fair enough this thing happens but you assume that using one's common sense, he would come and informed us of the situation what and offer us a drink as we had finished our pints while waiting. Nooooo, that did not happen till we went over to the counter to find out what's going on. He was apologetic and you think that the bad service ends there. No, no, no... The waiter served us our food and we asked for some mayo to go with it, guess what! It did not turn up even when we finished our meal. You would think that the waiter would ensure that they get it right this time. The meal cost us over £20 for a wrap, burger and 2 pints. In conclusion, if you prepare for shit service and over charged food, knock yourself out. Needless to say, I would never set my foot in there again.

The best place to watch the footy especially when the mighty Bristol City are on the box! The pizzas they serve are also off key.
