The starters were ok... There were no waiting staff - the lady from the hotel reception had to literally run over and serve us when she spotted us.
When the chicken came it was very bloody and was far from a quality cut of meat... very difficult to get any chicken off the bone as the flesh was still a bit too under cooked.
The potatoes "dauphinoise" were so were extremely hot with burnt cheese underneath...
The "stylish" atmosphere quoted was somewhat ruined by the noise of the chef's radio and shouting coming from the kitchen...
Probably the worst main meal I've had in Bristol and I won't be going back...
When i stayed at the hotel i had a meal within the restaurant and it was beautiful the steak was cooked to perfection!! Also the decor is very clean looking and it always has cheery and helpful staff.
