Went with a couple of friends. Atmosphere and surroundings are nice but the food is over priced, small portions and not even great flavour. I had a crab pasta dish which had hardly any crab in it and cost £13.95! If you go for main/ meat dishes you have to pay extra for accompanients. Its just another poor quality, chain restaurant in my opinion. Oh and the service was very slow too and they made us wait outside in the cold in a queue even tho we'd booked because 'the system was down'. I certainly won't be rushing back!
Stumbled upon the restaurant last Friday whilst staying in Bristol. So glad we did! The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable, and the food full of flavour and not quite your standard fare. Would certainly recommend it. We had three courses each and a bottle of house wine, and my partner also finished with a liquor and the bill was just under £65, which I felt was good value for such a good meal.
We went for lunch - 2 adults and 2 children - and were very disappointed. The place looks great and the staff are friendly but the food is just poor and the high prices unjustified. Portions were tiny and underwhelming in flavour. And we still managed to spend £65 without adult desserts or alcoholic drinks! Not going back.
