This is a very nice family run restaurant.
The whole place has been decorated in such a way that it makes you feel you're sitting in any of the sun-blessed Italian towns.
The food is tasty, generous and served piping hot.
The pizzas (which are prepared on the spot) are a particular favourite.
The service is very friendly and always with a smile.
It is not unusual for the chef to talk to customers from his kitchen window, giving you the impression you are a favoured guest in their restaurant. This attitude is quite common in south Mediterranean establishments and a welcome change from the impersonal treatment you get nowadays in most restaurants in this country.
All in all, a very pleasant experience which I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone wishing to spend a nice evening while enjoying great Italian food.

It is a pleasure to find this site and to be able to write a review of our experience of Mama Mia.
My husband an I were visiting a dying uncle and needed somewhere to eat after our frequent visits. Mama Mia was just the sort of cheerful, family run place we needed. The food was delicious the price was right, but we were amazed at how quiet this patient little family run business was. They didn't seem to mind. It did not feel that we were in Britain so relaxed and continental was the atmosphere.
Looking forward to taking my friend on Tuesday for a pre-concert meal.
