I agree with everything the above reviewer says. I was also at Plantation on Saturday night (12 Feb 2010) and can honestly say I have never received such bad service in a restaurant EVER! My girlfriend and I arrived about 10 mins before our party so tried to order a drink from the bar. The barman took our order - And then disappeared never to return with our drinks! After we were seated, a waitress finally came around to us. We ordered some drinks and were pretty much advised that we HAD to have the buffet because if we ordered off the menu we would never get the food. I did not see anyone have food taken to their table by a member of staff all night! After an inordinate amount of time some drinks arrived. But not all - and those that didn't were NEVER to arrive. Getting any more drinks was also like getting blood from a stone. The restaurant was not overly busy for a Saturday night (let alone before Valentines Day). In terms of the food. It was ok (tasty even). But no-one could eat 19 pounds worth of buffet, there was not a huge variety of dishes, and there was no pudding! I felt completely ripped off, and paid just to get out of there. Although we could probably have left without anyone noticing as the staff didn't even seem to have a reord of what we'd had to eat. In short, nightmare evening: spent 30 quid to get my own food, and mostly be without a drink. Don't go there. If I could give zero stars, I would.
