An OK pub but could be a great pub. Food is hit and miss and even after the recent refurbishment they have missed an opportunity to instill a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. A few comfy seats, roaring fire etc rather than it being just a restaurant ?

Me and the girls came here for a few drinks and had a really nice catch up and were made to feel really welcome. Nice staff and really friendly atmosphere.
