Restaurant had a unique feel to it inside. The food was just OK. You could tell all the dishes are homemade but they just seemed to lack flavour.

The staff were very friendly - service speed was adequate.

Just had a lovely meal with my kids at this highly individual resturant. Food was great. Service was very friendly. Great Value for money. My son said his cheesecake was awesome and his chicken kebab with chilli sauce was great. Nice chips too.

Just had a very unsatisfactory evening here. I had the spinach lasagne, which was very dry, completely tasteless, and inexplicably full of sweetcorn. The waitress saw that I had hardly touched it and asked if everything was ok, so I explained. She took our plates and we sat around for 10 minutes waiting for a dessert menu, watching as other people got theirs and getting a bit cross that we were being ignored. We had just decided not to have a dessert and get the bill, when a big burly man appeared introducing himself as the owner. He asked what was wrong with the lasagne, so I told him. Instead of just apologising, he shrugged his shoulders and launched into a rant about how he had 35 years experience in the industry and 99% of his customers were happy - basically he had not come out to apologise, but to see who had dared to criticise him, and confront them.

We will definitely not be going back here. The food is overpriced and quite strange (my boyfriend had the chilli con carne, which for some reason came with pasta salad and brocolli) and beware - when the waitress asks you if you want dressing on your salad, she does not mention that it costs £2 extra.

Crap.
