Hugely disappointing and tired second sequel where the characters are just going through the motions with a real lack of decent laughs. I loved the ice age films and was very excited about the prospect of a third.

This outing finds Mannie and Ellie the mammoths, Sid the Sloth, Diego the Sabre Tooth tiger and the two rodents Crash and Eddie discovering an underground world where dinosaurs roam.

It seems the creators have run out of new laughs and so much of what you see has been seen before, animated dinosaurs, cute baby dinosaurs, big bad guy dinosaur (yawn). In fact, the film feels much like the latest Indiana Jones, so slow and ponderous it will soon become extinct! Of course, the animation is beautiful and the music is great but did we really need three sexually related jokes in a kids film? Is nothing sacred any more? Good grief.

All in all, I can't recommend this at all. I've heard Bolt is a far better choice for your buck or treat the kids to a pizza.

I found the film to be fantastic.

Hugely entertaining and funny with changing depths throughout the film.

The storyline was well thought up and I am sure it entertained the masses as well as myself.
