Its my mate in Bristols birthday in a week and we are all coming up to pay him a visit and fill him with drinks! Which bar would you recommend to make sure his birthday is suitably messy?! We cant have him getting off lightly on his 21st!

best bet is to stick to the student bars, that way you can get totally wrecked and not spend a king's ransom. i recommend cadbury house, enjoy!

Agreed. student bars are the best option, maybe revolution in the old fish market? drinks are little more expensive than your usual student bar, but could be a good stop for a pub crawl.

you probably wanna end up somewhere like oceana then, he'll blend in with all the other hammered people in there!

personally id suggest the Lansdown, its a really good pub, and you could get battered in the beer garden before going in the pub in the evening when things are sure to liven up a bit!

I reckon walkabout is still the place to go for a messy night. ply your mate with snake bite and watch his fall from grace!
