with its wide variety of pubs and bars, are there any hidden treasures you have stumbled apon in this fair city of ours? it could be a a pub you came across quite by accident that very few people seem to know about. for example I love Cosie's wine bar, yet it seems to have few people ranting and raving about it and little promotion advertising its existence (although this is beginning to change). I just feel bristol is filled with secret places waiting to be explored...

Beeses bar & tea garden is a favourite of mine and no one seems to talk about it. the old ferry is even operational during opening times!

The Shield and Dagger is a quality place to have a drink and seems to have been hidden away from the masses. Its a fantastic old school, traditional, classic and all the other words you can think of pub thats just waiting to be explored
