Went to Flamingos with the bf and a mate on New Year's Eve, as we'd had a good time there last year. Although the club has been greatly improved since last year the night was a bit of a let down. The host for the evening was drunk and liked the sound of his own voice on the microphone and thought it entertaining that we watched him kiss another chap on stage....it wasn't! The farcical point of the night was when he said we were going over 'LIVE' to Big Ben for the countdown.....it was obvious to see this was a recording - the words 'DVD' and 'Play' displayed on the screen gave it away! To top it all the 'LIVE Countdown' was over 3 minutes late.....they only had to get one thing right on the evening and they couldn't even do that.
