The full moon is not only disapointing, its a disgrace, when we went after having a staff christmas meal booked for over two months,we were rang the day before to be informed that they had lost there licore licence, due to 'admin' errors....!this was after we had paid a £5 deposit each.out of a group of 30 we had mostly ordered three courses, which included complimentary wine.so when the day came to,we didnt have any complimentary, wine,or any alcoholic drinks at all,it was a bring it yourself job!the food was good, they only thing that was,so big respect to the kitchen staff for producing over all good quality meal for a group of 30,tough job, only complaints were the steak was over cooked for everyone, and the haselnut crem brule was poor, but that wasnt made by them so not your fault, just research your surpliers wear before hand!
the truely disgracful part of the evening was the end where, they charged us full price including a £2.50 service charge each, for what can only be called average service.this was after not getting our complimentary wine, and lack of booze, which caused much trouble and hassle to what was an expected fun filled relaxed evening, after a complaint or two,the latter to be exact,we got 50p off each, which didnt cover the loss of the included wine, easily over £50!
we were treated terribly and i wouldnt recommend anyone to book any sort of a group function with them.well it says it all when a pub doesnt even has a licence.
unfortunatly we didnt have much of a choice,u do,so save yourself a lot of trouble and go else where!
