I had a Jacket Potato with Tuna Mayo here today. It came with the obligatory (tasteless) iceburg leaves and a couple of dry slices of cucumber, hmm, boring but not a crime (although I would have preferred a couple of pieces of freshly sliced tomato). The barman (manager?) asked if everything was ok with the meal and I told him I thought the portion of Flora margarine served with a jacket potato was a horrid idea! "Well you're the first one to complain" was his response. I find that hard to believe, or is it just that others just left the yukky stuff under its foil. I had about a teaspoon of potato left when the guy appeared and put a portion of butter in front of me. I wish he'd asked me before I'd started if I prefer marg or butter! tbh I only went there as I was early for a hospital appointment but todays experience won't make me go out of my way to revisit.
Clean and tidy inside and out is a positive point.
The White Hart is beautiful, the staff are great. I had a meal here a while ago which was very nice but I drink here fairly reguarly and its got a really friendly real. Never seen a ghost though!
