Visited on a Tuesday lunch time, so pub wasn't busy. A nice selection of food without being overwhelming. Had liver in onion gravy, which was very nicely cooked and presented. Friend had scampi with HOME made chips and she said the best she had had in a long time. Noticed some meals served were huge, but ours was smaller portions, which were just right for seniors! Young lady serving behind bar was very pleasant and helpful and then a young man came to speak to us to ask if we needed anything further and was also extremely pleasant with a very jovial smile. In all, a very enjoyable meal and atmosphere and will certainly go back again and again. Not to be missed and thanks to the staff.
