I visited this restaurant with my family for a birthday celebration booked several weeks in advance. Firstly we were informed that 'several items on the menu were not available' . The service was abysmal an hour from ordering until getting the starters another 30 minutes from finishing the starter to the main course. The staff didn't clear the first course and I had to physically hand my dirty plate to the waitress and ask if she would remove it.
Food: reasonable when arrived but the salad was crunchy 'with sand' not washed properly and the potatoes hard.
I cannot think of anywhere I have visited where the service was so poor.

Avoid at all costs

I gave this place a try again after a disapointing experience on my first visit a few months ago.

I was really happy by the steps that have been taken to improve one of Portishead's only good places to eat out in the marina.

The food was great (the fish and chips), the wine was a nicley chilled and refreshing.

The main improvement was the service, I felt truly appreciated as a customer, which has lead me knowing that I am going to return again soon.

Well done.

Great place to visit especially when its sunny at the restaurant feels so airy and bright.
