I totally agree with Assilah restaurant, £235 for 18 people at xmas is good going, and waiting for food means its being cooked fresh, as all food in this restaurant is. Its nice to sit in a restaurant nowadays and not have to rush, but enjoy, plus it works out so much cheaper to bring your own wine. which makes for a good night night. I will always go back to Assilah Bristro when in town.
Food good. Mix up with the booking so meals missing and had to wait quite a while for food to arrive. Be aware prices may change if booked in advance for large party - may not all be at discounted group prices if more people added later. Shame as slightly took away some of the experience. Wouldn't go again.
Assilah is an amazing restaurant. I have now been here 6 times and keep taking different people here. Recently I took a group of friends (17 of us) for a pre-wedding celebration. Bridget (front of house) was very accomodating and all enjoyed their food. It has an authentic atmosphere. Thanks for all the effort you made.
Went there for first time on Friday night. Excellent.
Delicious food and swift delivery. Went for the Morrocan spicy Lamb...Mmmm! Both of us ate 2 courses and was £32! - ridiculously cheap, also a BYO.
I will be back here very soon... I highly recommend that if you haven't been here...you should! :)

The hostess is really friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is delicious and authentic!
Going back for a fourth visit this month and looking forward to it.
Outer appearance is extremely deceptive. Don't be fooled. But do remember to take your own alcoholic drink.
this plce deosnt look much from the outside, infact its a bit skruffy, but the food is awsome! Go inside and try, you wont be disapointed.
credit crunch dinner. Homemade food, freshly cooked by an authentic Moroccan and friendly Front of House. Delicious and reasonable - the food not the front of house!! BYO makes it even more affordable
