Hi,went there last night,the previous reviewer must be on the board of directors(not a spelling mistake and well punctuated). Give Chiquito a wide berth unless you are 17 yrs old or younger and never eaten anywhere except Mcdonalds or the like. There is nothing authentic about Chiquito except the corny Mex music bleating out all night. Peoples unruly kids allowed to run wild and make a racket,not what you would expect from a "restaurant". Portions nothing like portrayed on the menu,calamari rubbery,wraps not fit for a dog, filled with cheap stewing beef the sort you get in steak and kidney pie,items off menu so obviously freezer not re-stocked. Could not wait to get out,overpriced fast food chain,if Chiquito wasn't from the same stable as Frankie and Benni and traded in the high street as "the Mexican"or some such name it would be out of businees in no time. If you like Fajitas then you will love Chiquito’s.

I’ve eaten here plenty of times and to be honest the only things worth going back for are the Fajitas and the Nachos.

Everything else on the Mexican menu is average at best.

They do have a selection of food which isn’t Mexican too, Chiquito’s and Frankie & Benny’s are owned by the same company, and they seem to have very similar food to Frankie & Benny’s available too (except for no pizza’s).

So if you have friends who don’t like Mexican and fancy Fajitas or Nachos drag them along to look at the menu.

Chiquito’s really comes into its own if you can get down for their lunch menu Monday – Friday.

I haven’t found a better deal in Bristol for lunch. It costs about £7.25 for 2 courses, they are full sized dishes and they have both the Nacho’s on the starter menu, and Fajitas on the main course menu.

If you get this combination you will probably struggle to just get through the Nacho’s let alone the Fajitas. I tend to pop along here for business lunches and never leave disappointed.

The service in here is usually good, although they can sometimes leave you waiting at your table without taking a drinks order.

I always make sure I tell the server my drinks order as they sit me down to avoid this problem now.

If I was just reviewing just the lunch menu I would give 5 stars, if it was the standard menu without a discount 3 stars.
