Had a delivery from orchid, which apparently has now changed its name. The food was over priced, had very little flavour and arrived cold.

Very tasty and authentic malaysian and chinese food! I cannot recommend the Pad Thai enough, as well as the Thai Green Curry with Roti Canai (malaysian bread). Being a student in Bristol, I find Orchid to be very decent priced compared to the other restaurants in the area. Staff are friendly, and more than helpful when it comes to recommendations.

As a party of four we ate in the Orchid Restaurant with a "Groupon Promotion" whereby we supposidily would have a £42.75 meal for only £16.95

What we had was certainly worth £16.95 but not a lot more!!

The atmosphere was very nice & service was good, however we did feel second class diners because of the promotion we were using. We had to pay for rice with the dishes, and the mains were not served in the same way as adjoining diners who were not on the promotion. When it came to desserts we were not allowed to see the dessert menu opther diners were given , but instead just given a verbal choice of 3 basic dishes.

If the purpose oif this promotion was to encourage peoople to return for future meals it certainly failed for us. Indeed had we not used the promotion we coukld have a a better value meal from the special offers on their menus.

We shall not return as what we had, whilst value for what we paid, was way below expections sold with the promotion.
