Thornbury Fireworks Display
When
5.30pm, 7th November 2009
Where
Mundy Playing Fields
It's a traditional bonfire night at Thornbury fireworks display. The Thornbury Round Table are hosting the Mundy Fields display with all the entertainment you expect plus a few treats for younger children.
Family Fireworks
Get ready to ooh and ahh at the Thornbury fireworks display, with bonfire night fun to please all the family, both young and old. As well as fireworks there's a fantastic bonfire to ensure the evening has plenty of crackle to celebrate Guy Fawkes in traditional 5th November style.
Childrens Display
To ensure everyone is entertained, the Thornbury fireworks display is split into three parts starting with a display especially tailored for children. This is the perfect display for younger children because while the pyrotechnics are just as stunning they're not as loud as the main display which takes place later in the evening.
Bonfire
A massive bonfire will be lit mid way through the Thornbury fireworks display and if previous years are anything to go by this will be a stunning sight. After this it's time for the main display which will be ramped up a gear from the children's display. It will feature all the squeals and bangs you expect from a traditional Guy Fawkes firework display.
Fairground
As well as fireworks there's also a funfair with rides and stalls to ensure there's something to keep all the family entertained. And if the night is a bit chilly you can warm up with hot drinks and traditional bonfire night food from the stalls on the site.
Thornbury fireworks display takes place at Mundy Fields from 5.30pm, 7th November 2009. Tickets on the gate cost £4 for adults and £3 for children, or you can save £1 by buying them in advance from News4U or Thornbury Town Hall.
